Shakespeare and the Elizabethan Age Poster Assignment

Using your topic relating to Shakespeare and the Elizabethan Age, make a poster with the following:

v       Relevant information relating to your topic, which will inform others about what you have found out.

v       Pictures to illustrate your information

v      Visuals to enhance your presentation remember that the Elizabethans were fond of lush fabrics, ribbons, feathers and gold so make it as attractive as possible.

v      Use A3 paper and plenty of colour

v      Print all information on A4 paper to be kept in your folder.

v      Although the title font, Vivaldi is a typical font for the time, it is very hard to read so don’t use it for the main part of your document.

v     Use old paper as white paper looks too modern i.e. stain it or use cream paper! Do not use burnt paper unless it is relevant.

v     You will be assessed on the information, care taken and the visual impact.

Good luck and enjoy making your poster as it should be fun to do!!

You will be giving a seminar on your topic. It should last at least 2 minutes so utilize the poster and any other visuals. You may present it using an OHP or power-point but you are responsible for arranging the technical details. The audience will be taking notes from your presentation so ensure that you have at least 5 clear points which they can write about. You will be assessed on the quality of information, structure, use of visuals and clarity.

An assessment sheet will be available.

To be or not to be that is the question
